As we go about our daily lives, we often rely on a series of attitudes (most of them subconscious) that can be seen as modes of behaviour driving many of our decisions and actions everyday.

However, many of the thinking patterns (one may also call them “mental models”) we have rooted in our minds, due to our previous knowledge and experiences, and that help us address the simple problems we face everyday, are not always very useful when dealing with complex, dynamic challenges. In fact, applying linear thinking to problems requiring a more holistic approach could even make those problems worse!

The good news is that by adopting, and actively practising, a systems thinking approach, each of us can begin to change her/his own mindset, vision (of the world) and, ultimately, everyday actions and approach to life.Stay in touch with us to learn more and immerse yourself in the science of systems thinking!
